This was my Granny's doll. She was born in 1918 in Kansas City Kansas off 7th street. They were very poor and received this doll from her dad. If I remember correctly he got it from a sales man on horse and buggy who sold fruit off the street and toys. I believe it is a 5 piece composition. It is 10 inches tall, no markings except the hair mold style, no numbers, or anything. The seams of the doll mold are visible along inside and outside of legs and arms and torso. clothes are not original but shoes and socks maybe. I'd love to know where, and when she was made and if it has a name. Any information appreciated.
Hi your doll is a Patsy Ann look a like . Made in 1940's . Patsy was a very popular doll by Effanbee Co and she was copied by several companies . The original ones were marked on back and also had a jointed neck . Hard to say exactly which company made her since no markings . Very nice condition for composition doll.
