I picked up this lucky Buddha today at Urban Ore. i think he's great! he even has nostrils, so he can breathe. I'd love to know when he was made and whether he's a good one or not. Happy New Year everyone!

Don't know how to spell my reaction to this so I'm going to go with EWE
this one is very similar to one which sold last week for over $400. same size too. i bet if i removed the felt on the bottom, i'd find the same marks on the bottom of mine.

i don't find him creepy at all OneGoodFind. i think he's rather jolly and kind. the detail is very subtle and beautiful. his eyebrows have these little curly hairs on them and he has pink around his belly and cheeks - very subtle.
this statue is about 12" tall by 12" wide by 9.5" deep.
This Hotei the laughing Buddha. Rub his stomach 3 times every day for luck.
