The red and yellow lines are where I drew over the seams via a program so that they'd be more visible.
My original write-up for my site:
"I picked this one up last week before my car's radiator blew. At first I wasn't sure what country it was from-- Riverhead, L.I.? Centre Moriches? Yetter & Moore? It certainly didn't sound American. Well, as it turns out, it's from Long Island, New York, before 1921. The glass company, Bottler’s & Manufacturer’s Supply Company of Long Island City, NY (abbreviated as B. & M. S. Co.,) was around from 1897 to 1920 and put together this very oddly made bottle. I'm not sure how they managed to put the seam right through the embossing, for the seam means an added part to the mold. Nonetheless, this private-mold bottle that also has a strange base displays a nice horseshoe around the main embossing."
In the end, it was determined by a number of collectors that the early machine-made bottle was twisted in finishing to add the extra seams, thus making it likely unique. Otherwise, it's a common bottle. This one just made itself rare.
