My dad has this neat piece but we aren't sure what it is and I can't find anything like it other than the tops of Secretary desks. It is made of oak and is like a secretary, but the front door slides both ways to allow access to the cubbies, the top door is hinged and can lay all the way back flat. It has no legs. It doesn't look like it ever had a bottom, but rather like it was supposed to be set against a wall. It measures about 4' wide, 3' tall, 12" -18" deep.
Hey! That's a secretary-like thing! LOL!! I think it looks great. Needs some restoring of course. Appears that this was a business piece & maybe supposed to be attached to a wall. That would be a 1st for me.
