First, thanks for your time in reading this. I am grateful. This bike was recovered from the Public Dump in Bedford, Mass in 1963. I was four years old and it became my first bike. Yes, I used it for a year or so. But I always love this bike. So I have kept it with me. The chain stayed attached until sometime in the last year. As far as I know this is all original and the chain is full except for the one pin that would keep it fully connected. I have included pictures of the two labels i know of. The labels are relatively unreadable and do not want to do anything to ruin them by wiping them down. I remember the labels looking like a crest with what looked like a bird or winged animal and what appeared to be German writing. I have done some looking, but have not found much on it. Based on pictures of similar bikes, I am guessing this was made in the 1890 to 1910 time frame. The tires are solid, both rubber handles are there, though one has pushed through the end. The seat is leather. The brake works on the front tire. Any information on this bike and or idea of value and or an idea of who would be the expert to evaluate this... would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks in advance.
Glad I'm not the only one with that problem, the webmaster tells me it's my computer......sorry I'm infecting yours................hahahahahaha
