I bought this Tea Set when I was about 19 years old from an older woman who was downsizing. I paid 25.00 for the set plus 4 gold trimmed plates that are Elite Works France/Limoge on the back. Loved these back then, and now I`m 67 years young, and still love them. No idea when they were made nor their value IF any. The Tea Pot is six inches tall, and about 9 inches wide from handle to spout. The footed Tea Cups are 3½ inches wide and 2 ¼ inches tall. The Saucers are 5½ inches wide. The mark on the bottom of the Tea Pot is ¼" tall.
The small bowl and salt dips were probably my Grandmother`s who passed away when I was about 3 years old. I got them from my mother.
They are Nippon (with an M in the center of the stamp).
I was afraid of confusion. the bread and butter plate has been added with it`s mark on the back of the plate.
They are beautiful. What a gorgeous handle on the teapot! I'm a bit confused on what is marked Limoges? Plates that are not pictured? The Nippon M mark is probably Noritake - but can't tell because there is no picture! If the decoration is raised on the pieces, it is called 'moriage'.

“Maple Leaf Nippon”, dates back to 1891. Found in green, blue (shown) & magenta. Van Patten’s #52. This mark should be 1/4? high. Known fake Maple Leaf backstamps are 1/2? high."
