I am thinking it is either something to do with wool or some scary surgical tool form early 1900's it is clearly solid sterling silver and I think was my grandmothers who was a registered nurse at DePaul Hospital. Anyone that can tell me please write! Thanks
makes a great mask!
LOL I just saw your message on Pinterest about this thing! A medical instrument would not be made from sterling silver, I don't imagine. It's shaped just like a lemon.
Hmmmm...
Scary, but no, it isn't an old circumcision tool....
Egg topper!

That's pretty incredible Kyra!! I would have never guessed what this was. Good call!
Kyra, how do you know this stuff???????? :-D
Hehe, I know because I'm full of cruelty (toward eggs!), lol!
Ah, and yes, Bonnie, before stainless steel there was medical/surgical devices in silver or silver plated (plus it has an antiseptic effect!).
I have to say I'm very impressed kyra, well done.
Thank you all for the answers and jokes! lol I was clueless. Also am relieved it is not a medical instrument! I can not write the scary ideas I had that would be cruel and unusual. lol I also am amazed at how much it is worth!
