Hello Fellow Collectors. This pocket watch was produced in Great Britain by Smiths/Ingersoll Ltd, circa 1953 and has a couple pieces and parts that move as the seconds click off. the star rotates and the Spaceman's head rocks back and forth as the seconds click off. I've heard these are a Dan Dare variant, but I found an original packaging that would dispute that. Title on boxing "Space" so that's what Kerry is going with, lol

Having owned some Dan Dare stuff in the past, you're right, this doesn't look like Dan Dare to me either. Although I can see some resemblance.
Perry, Thank you and I have seen this watch NIB, it came with a full sized compass....great graphics on box with "Space Watch & Compass" as title, nothing mentioned of Dan ...lol
