    These 2 items came in a carpenter's tool chest that was given to me which included among other things a Stanley no. 97 plane. These 2 items were the only things that have me stumped. The only identification is the cast BP and BP1 and BP2 are stamped on the casting parts.

      Those are extension ladder rung locks. Today they are aluminum with plastic flippers.
