      They appear to be piston ring expanders, but I'm not familliar with this company name, so I cannot give you a reference link for them.

      I have no clue, but I don't think they are piston ring spreaders.
      These have two motions, spread and pinch at the same time.

      This is a lesser deluxe version, of the brass ring expander set, that was solved on CW sometime back, but works the same way. I also found a look alike of your "TREX", marked "SPEEDY" in the link below. They made a few different types of these ring expanders, but this type pinches the ring edge on each side of the ring break, then holds on to it, and expands it as you squeeze the handles,, so it can be slid down over the piston.

      It looks like it is a ring expander. I down loaded one of the photos and lightened it up to see the jaws.
