I found this sweet little figurine in a junk shop. My favourite past time is to trawling these and looking up my findings. I would like to ask you is it a Beswick dog figurine? I googled it, but Beswick collies look bit different than mine. This figurine is approximately 6'' long from the nose to the tail.

Beswick figures are marked "BESWICK" on the underneath. This isn't Beswick. Many of these dog figures come from China or Korea, so there is no way to tell you the origins of this particular dog.
Efesgirl is right, but once in a blue moon you may find a Beswick piece unmarked. Beswick figurines usually had some endearing quality of what they were doing, a place, or an attitude. There are still a lot of collectors of this figure you have since there are a lot of dog shows where dealers sell to collectors. See nothing like this in my Beswick book.
I had never see an unmarked Beswick. One possibility is Japan

This collie figurine is a very nice example, however! I have numerous pieces of "kitsch" in my collection that I think are beautiful. A maker's name isn't important when you really like an object.
Efesgirl I absolutely agree with you. The most important is the beauty in the objects, the joy what they bring us.
