I picked this little cutie up at an east Berlin flea market yesterday - anyone know anything about it? I thought the style was quite distinctive but can't place it. She measures 6cm tall to the tip of her left ear, 4.5 cm from tip of tail stump to chest and head is about 3cm across. It looks as though it once had a long tail, but this is now broken off. There is a little purple flower at its neck but someone has tied some gift ribbon over this. There's a small hole in the bottom so I assume it's hollow. It's very light and I wonder if it's actually made of maybe plaster of paris or papier marche rather than any form of clay or stone, but I can't really tell. I love that the eyes and mouth are just dots of paint, there's a naive feel to it. Any info appreciated!
