This desolate later-winter photo may now be a bit lonely, but the other one I wanted with it was too damaged to spend even a quarter on. Several on this size/type of paper were around it, and a few were marked, "1919." So, we can believe that this is from 1919. It was with the remains of a set of photos showing a fishing trip. This was likely done by an amateur documenting his trip. Thinking about it more, I should have picked up one with the man in it-- unlike most older pics, he was smiling.
I can connect with this photo, oddly. It's all because this scene can really describe how I often feel.

Ha, looks very much like mine, minus the snow...oh wait, it's on its way :-( we should quickly surround ourselves with the photos of BB's backyard!! =)

They are for a backyard in the city. LOL.
Anna, you would hate me if I posted pix of my backyard. Right now I'm staying on top of a mountain in St. Thomas looking down on the Red Hook marina & ferry terminal & out at Cruz Bay, St. John & many isles of the B.V.I.. I just couldn't do that to you guys !!
