Hello Fellow Collectors. As I said before, there are remakes and retro styling watches out there and normally I don't go for them. But every now and again, they produce something I consider worthwhile. A few years back Ingersoll produced a remake of the early styling Mickey Mouse wristwatch. This were a close duplicate of the original but were upgraded from a simple pin-lever movement to a new styling 17 jewel set mechanical wound movement. In the first photo, I've displayed an original 1933-34 Mickey(on the right) so you could get a prespective. These newer pieces are part of a series with this, a bracelet model and two pocket watches, one gold tone, one silver tone.
Thanks for looking,
Kerry
I guess the old ones are too precious to use but I was wondering Kerry if you do wear the newer ones?
I have an image of you pulling up your sleeve to check the time and there is Mickey, arms pumping, smiling happily.
Or do you use a modern Seiko or even....the horror......your phone!!!
Very nice Kerry!!
Karen, I use a Citizen Eco-drive Mickey, lol
Karen, I should add, that the Citizen Mickey is my everyday watch, but on those special occasions , I wear a Mickey Rolex

I'm looking for the Mickey Rolex in your posts Kerry, not seeing it! Is there such a thing?
I was keeping and eye on an e-bay listing this last week of a similar watch as the one on the right, but it needed a service and I'm guessing it was well beyond the local watch store's skill set to do the work. It had that unique band which I had not seen before, and I was unsure if it was original!
Now I know!! Too late!!!!
These a certainly among my fav. watches!!
Great post as always!!
Bernie, yes there's Mickey Rolex, now hard core Rolex & Disney people will tell you not, but there's some that believe Rolex and Walt had a "Hand shake" deal, where as neither complained about copyright infringements. I seen several and own one, either way fantasy or not, it's a top shelf item for sure. Thanks for dropping by, always appreciated!! BTW, I'll post the Mickey Rolex I have
Thank you Sean, ole buddy, always great to see you've been looking :-)
Thanks Trey, very appreciated :-)
I just received my new vintage-looking Ingersoll Mickey in the mail today. I got it before deciding to go all the way with the 1933 World's Fair one. Mine has the leather strap, although I also just ordered the stainless steel bracelet for it from Ingersoll. Not bad at all--looks very good!!
