Well outside of my knowledge is this vintage-antique tanker-truck I dug several years ago whilst exploring the ruins (hole in floor falling into old pump-house, roof caving in, walls begin to come down) of our last house's shed.

From within the thorn-vines covering the back side, I noticed something yellow-painted in the duff and dirt-- so I pulled it out.
Lo and behold: a toy truck that had said SHELL on both sides.
But, alas: My parent (I was a kid) told me to clean it before it could come inside, and thus the red letters came of.

For years it sat on my turtle's tank, myself occasionally playing with it as its rubber wheels still spin. One year we got internet, but I couldn't find it online. I tried again a few years later but still found nothing.

My best guess is 1940s, but that is a guess and doesn't tell me who made it or how commonly seen it is.

There's a 1 marked inside of it, and that's all it says anymore.

      I think you're right:

It also dates to my best guess of 1940s.
      Our home was 1945.

They're available on the market still. :P

Yes, he answered my query extremely quickly.

College is going well. My math professor isn't the best, but I have a friend in that class who is so far willing to clarify things. Thanks for asking. :)
