This is an old light cover with copper fittings on the chain and hanger. It isn't leaded, although it looks like it. My husband loves it, but I don't want it hanging in our home. Has anyone seen anything like this before? Could it be milk glass, and is there any way to tell if it is or not?
That looks to me like a type of honeycomb design. Can't tell if it's milk glass. It just looks like regular white glass. Milk glass has a particular appearance/sheen to it.

Not milkglass, no opalescent sheen to it.
Thanks, bladerunner22. It may be from the 1940's or so. It was taken out of a very old building.
Whatever you do, don't throw it out!!! It's beautiful.
I'd like that in our home, and I don't even do retro-modern design. LOL.
these are typically listed as 'Art Deco Skyscraper' glass shades. I'd probably just refer to it as while glass; tho' milk glass isn't necessarily incorrect either.
