I just found the most _amazing_ pair of torchiere lamps on OfferUp. They’re green and bronze, very heavy, with partially clear and partially frosted notched reflector bowls/diffusers (I’m not sure which name is correct, as in my research I came across both). The clear portion has a waffle design, while the frosted portion has light ribbing from within.
From my research, I was able to identify the reflectors as the type used by Rembrandt in the 1950’s. I was able to confirm with the person I bought them from that they were indeed a wedding gift to her grandmother in the 50’s. There are no markings or stickers on the lamps, though the bottom of the baseplate is embossed with “911”. Also, there is a small black box tucked into the base with the name “Leviton“ on it in raised, black-on-black lettering.
The lamps are 34” high from base to socket, 38” high if one includes the reflector shield. I have found many lamps that look _similar_, but not one single picture of this exact lamp, and I’m dying to know what it is. I’m fairly sure they’re Rembrandts, but I’d love a more positive identification and any other details anyone might be able to provide, as well as any resources to which you could direct me for more information.
I have included the original picture she had used to post it on the selling site for your reference.
Thank you so much in advance for any info or help you can offer! :)
