    I got this at the Goodwill today too. i think that they are some modern majolica - probably from China. they are pretty inconvenient for S & P shakers - due to their long size and wobbliness, but i thought they were pretty cool anyways.

      i'm pretty sure that Patricia Garrett's pottery is considered 'art pottery' as well. can we put this back under that category? it would fit better there than under 'majolica'.

      My father had an asparagus farm. I lived there in Nebr. until 11 yr. old!! Good money in asparagus! If you count your tips! Great find!!!
