Last weekend I came across this piece at a local Flee Market.
The sell was asking a crazy low price for a glass that is signed Galle.
I asked him if it were a real Galle and and he didn't seem to know what Galle was. I took a chance and bought it. Real or fake it's so pretty I couldn't go wrong.
I'd appreciate an help identifying this glass.
Many thanks
Bess
http://www.realorrepro.com has many articles on Gallé old and new. Also signatures. Good luck!
Thank You
I'm going there now :)
It is pretty, whether it's original or not!
Here's another site with info about identifying newer Galle repros. If it were me, I'd be looking at things like the overall shape, the rim surface (flat or rounded) and the quality / look of the glass. The signatures on these always seemed to me like they'd be the easiest part to reproduce.

Those flowers are sweet peas. I'm going to go with repro/homage. The shape is too pedestrian. It's perfect to warm up a wintery day, though!
