This locket was bought from an antique store in Chemainus, British Columbia. It was a gift to me, but its history is a mystery. If there is anyone who knows or recognizes this locket, i am looking for more information. Each heart is 2" wide and approx 2" in length. It has a strange engraving on the inside of both hearts
one side reads "30/H" and the other is marked in a similar manner but the number over the "H" is hard to see.
The "H" is signed in cursive on both sides. On the back of the locket is
"STERLING" with a small "B" stamp next to it.
Your locket is made in Canada by Birks, one of the best stores we have here. I am not too familiar with the mark but it could be dating back as far as the 1940's.
