The chain has the following labels on:
Italy
30/BD/BO
And a diamond that says SD or something similar that I can't discern.
The pendant has a small has a small signature on the eyelet's back that says 9kt and underneath op or something like that with three short horizontal lines on both sides.
There's some more detail on the eyelet that cant't be made out without a microscope but it's definitely deliberately etched in.
My grandmother recived it as a gift from my stepgrandfather in the 1950s and he never told her where it was from. I'd love to know the story behind this item, if there's one.
