    The J. Hoare Cut Glass Co. was established in 1853 in Corning N.Y. They were one of the premier cutting houses during the brilliant period of cut glass. (1875-1915) I see these carafes listed on Ebay all the time as flower vases. This pattern is called "Pluto."
