I just recently purchased this chair and estate sale. The tag on it says it was made by the Home Chair Company. I'm struggling to find more information about it

home chair co. Ronda NC
if you live in N. C. in Ronda, you could check out their library to see if they have any records. About 99% of makers left no information whatsoever.
Thank you for the comment! Unfortunately, I live in the middle of Wyoming and don't know that I will be to North Carolina. Thank you though!
Is that a drawer in the seat?
They have a Facebook page. Submit it there.

They were also in MORIAH NC. A google search shows chairs by this company are very collectible! The mid-century styles anyway.
It's a sweing chair with drawer:

Ah- it was owned by William Dudley Moore Sr. (His father?) Home Chair was sold to Burlington in the 70's. Now they are Otto & Moore.
"The Moore’s, have deep roots in the furniture industry. “Around the turn of the 20th century,” Says, Dudley Moore, Jr., “my great grandfather owned a successful chair manufacturing business, Home Chair Company, located in the mountains of North Carolina along with two of his three sons. The company was sold to Burlington industries in the early ‘70s. There wasn’t a job in the business for my father, the youngest son.”
