This is a small pin on the lapel of a jacket of my grandfather in a post WWI photograph. I think it his regimental badge and I am trying to identify which regiment.

It looks like a horn & from other source I have just received it may be The 6th Battalion Kings Liverpool Regiment ?
Actually the hunting horn appears in many British infantry regimental badges, so don't get misled. This has nothing to do with military bands. It does look like the insignia of the 6th Battalion, King's Liverpool Regiment.
Hello. The badge your grandfather is wearing is 100% 6th Kings Liverpool Regiment, otherwise known as the Liverpool Rifles. You don't mention if the badge was being worn on uniform or not, but it would have been in blackened brass as a cap badge. The 6th Rifles were a Teritorial Force unit.
