My boyfriend found this in the trash and was going to scrap it. I made him keep it until I found out a little more info. about it and see if it was worth throwing away or hanging on to. So if anyone knows any info about it like how much it might be worth and the year it is that would be great. Thanks!

The seat alone is worth money. Bananna seats in that condition always do well. They had one on ebay that didn't see for the reserve. This is not surprising because of the shipping costs. I would say the seat alone is worth $50. These stingray bikes are great for collectors, don't pitch it!

I had this same bike when I was 10!! I totally geeked it up -- playing cards in the spokes, white basket with flowers on the front, goofy flag and all!! I would say I had mine somewhere around 1982-1984. I'd love to have the same style bike for my own daughter!
I have the same bike but my bike has pink plastic fenders and aeverything is original. It has pink handle grips and its in good condition. I would like to know its value.

The seat was on eBay as recently as Sept '11, probably still around. Debbie, I think these fenders were pink but have faded (and of course the front one is lost). This appears very restorable!
