Hello Fellow Collectors and Visitors. Today I thought I share something Boy Scout related. Ingersoll produced the first Boy Scout pocket watch back in 1936, they made two variants of those early models, they ran up until production stopped due to WW2. After the war ended, Ingersoll had a new name..... US Time Corp.
This watch was produced by them, post war. I can't seen to find a sales advertisement to date this piece, but educated guess would say between 1947-59, after that would have been Timex labeling. LOL has to be pre 1963, no zip code on paperwork. If anyone has older advertisement showing this, would be deeply interested in seeing a copy.
Thanks for looking in and have a great day
    Kerry

      Kerry,
Nice watch. I was just looking at the pics before commenting and then I read your story there. I noticed the missing zip codes on the paperwork right away, LOL!!! So, you know it's got some age when they still hadn't begun to use zip codes yet:)

Scott, was typing same time as you, lol.... The zip code is clue along with US Time, by 1955-59 they switch over to being Timex, so pre-dates that also, so narrows down to 1947-55 basically

Boy, I've just learned recently how much work was performed in Waterbury, Conn. back some 70 years ago, Kerry. Not only watches repaired there but literally tons of different mechanisms for all kinds of clocks and watches were made there long before and after WW2. This watch is in great condition!

Thanks Perry, they were and still are a multi-verse company, before the war, they were probably one of the best jobs to have during the Depression. Thanks again on my BSA watch :-)
