Lighter

Hi

Can someone tell me anything about this lighter. It was given to me by my mother in law . She was given it by her uncle from Ireland , she is in her 70's so I would assume it is older than her but I don't know anything else about the age of it or where it actually has come from. I recall her saying he may have been in the war possibly.
