This isnt really a Pick. I inherited this from my dad. It was his project but then he unexpected died and it never got restored. Now that I have it, I am eager to restore this baby!
It does run and infact I was riding it around the yard lastnight.
    Now to the details:
The VIN number plate seems to be missing, It isnt by the kickstand!
There is no Title, so I have no information from that either.
Through some research I have been told it is a 50 Series. I have also been told it is a 60 Series. I am pretty sure it is the "Sports Model".
We believe it is between 1948 and 1950.
I just want to know what exactly I have here. I want to make sure I get the right parts for restoration.
So if anyone can give me some insight...that would be FANTASTIC!

I was on that website and I thought I found it it in the Picture ID section, but that isnt it. I can tell by the rear tubing. That one has extra brackets. Seen a couple like that in my searches.

Oh well, that's all I've got...................................

What you don't realize is that this has been modified, for one the cross bar on the left side at the engine has been cut and removed and iI think the rear tubes have been drilled for some attachment or another....I think if you keep looking that you will find the 'extra brackets' you speak of have also been removed. I do believe yu have a 1949 series 62 Sport on your hands, you can send these pics to them and they might help you, but you need to hear....

Yes I know the crossbar on the left has been cut off. Thats one of the first things I noticed.
I am wondering if the drilled holes might have been for the luggage rack.

Ummm I wasnt offended by anything. I was just saying that I knew the cross bar was cut out.

Looks like a 60 series, you might look around the footwell for a serial plate. I want a similar scooter, but I've decided I may have to just build it from scratch.

If you decide to restore it and break it down...I'd sure love to have some basic frame measurements from it so I could replicate the frame & forks. I think I can buy the rest to make it operable. Good Luck & Thanks should you care to share the measurements ...Dave (kdc49@yahoo.com)

Thanks Pop..I'd seen that ad but it's from 2010 so I figured it was gone, but maybe not...I'll give him a call to be sure.

As for the scooter above it resembles a 54A like the one pictured here... http://www.motoexotica.com/scripts/slide/pre.asp?id=2178
You might use the photos to restore yours
