Yes, I was in the thrift store again...
A building somewhere in Albania....don't know what building it is yet. This isn't from 1762 - it's a modern piece. I only found one other on the net, on an Albanian sales website. This plaque design was added to their catalog in 2005. I like it because it has that Old World look to it. This type of work is called punime bakri. This wall plaque is quality and has a very nice weight to it. Many of these sorts of things are flimsy and thin.
$49.00!!! I paid 3,50 Euro...

Thanks, jscott! This is missing the little triangle piece for hanging but that is easily remedied. I can make out a few words on what is left of the label.
