St Dwynwyn's Day or Dydd Santes Dwynwen, Welsh Valentines day 25th January before 14th Februrary

Here in Wales, UK we have more than one Valentines days which is St Dwynwyn's Day or Dydd Santes Dwynwen, Welsh Valentines day 25th January before the 14th Februrary.

The more romantic amongst us may use the two dates to show our romantic nature or not if you're a tight misery! I have carved these two Welsh love spoons which was the traditional way to impress your beloved or betrothed. In Wales we call a loved one Caraid and if we are very lucky we'll get a Cwtsh or cwtch which is in essence a cuddle or hug.

Everybody in Wales loves a cwtch!
