Has anyone seen one like this or know what it is worth? I cant seem to find any information on it. I have found the same model but none with the gold inlay. My father gave it to me and said it was a limited edition and valuable. It is a Valor Miami USA Super Sport. It also says Japan 334, 334 I believe is the model. Any help would be great

Very nice looking Valor. Like you, I've seen lots of Valor Super Sports ~ even own one now, and have sold a couple in the past, as well ~ but have never seen one as elaborate as yours. Do you know if your father bought the knife new? And when (year) and how much he paid for it? If you want to know the value of the knife, I think the answers to those questions might help. But as you know, the monetary value of anything is only worth as much as someone is willing to pay for it. Since you father personally gave you the knife, its commercial value can never match its sentimental value, which I think is more important

Thanks NevedaBlades, my father said is was given to him. He lived in S. Florida. I know he had it since it was new. But I would just like to find a worth on it. So I could sell it. As far as sentimental value it has none to me. Long Story. He collected lots of knives. I was going to sell it for $100. But since I can't seem to find out any info on it and no one has ever seen one like it, even other knife clubs, I figured it might be worth more.

Although not specifically about your VALOR SUPER SPORT, there's a very well-written article about Valor knives made in Japan, if you're interested.

      The link is: http//hattoricollector.com/2015/10/01/beretta-and-valor/.

The article is about ICHIRO HATTORI, the renowned knife maker in SEKI, JAPAN, a city in Gifu Prefecture internationally famous for its 800-plus-year history of cutlery craftsmanship. There's a short section in the article about the VALOR CORPORATION of MIAMI, FLORIDA (which existed only from the late 1960's until the early 1990's) and some of the knife models made for Valor by Mr. Hattori, such as the MODEL 360 SUPER SPORT, which had "Hand Made by Ichiro" etched on one side of the blade and serial numbered on the other side. Fascinating stuff.

If your limited edition Valor Super Sport has either HATTORI or ICHIRO etched on its blade, then you've got one helluva valuable knife.
