    I didn't realize how fragile these things are! it's a miracle they survive at all. i think this one was used for flowers for a long time as there are hard water stains on it. i don't know how to remove those. i scrubbed it up a little and realized i had removed one of the pearl earrings and a little paint. yikes! i don't know anything about these except i see them come up on ebay alot.

      These vases go for silly money here. I love them, but don't have any.
      I think some of the colours have been cold painted which is why it comes off so easily.
      Typical of 1960s Japanese pottery made for the west - I have lots of figurines with missing paint.
      If you wanted you could redo her with some enamel or hobby paint.
