These are a mystery to me , they are in a enclosed wood frame with four sections they look like they are wood texture ,but looks more like ink than paint, I looked the image up and the closest thing was a card made in the early 1900s , these are not paper ,any help would be nice!
Prints like these were very popular in the 1900's as part of the Arts & Crafts movement. Liberty made series of nursery prints and other sport style prints that were mounted in frames like yours that held pipe racks and other displays for sports rooms.
They appear to have some sort of artists or makers mark on them but I don't recognise the style or subject matter. But both the Beggerstaffs and Will Bradley used a heavy outline technique like these (come from the influence of Japanese woodblock prints). It was also popular with many other graphic artists of the time.
Also card is completely consistent with that period, in an oak frame.
They are made by John Hassall for RAPHAEL TUCK & SONS a postcard company.
Thank You both for your information, you are right mp.kunst they are John Hassall, do you know if they were done on anything other than paper these have the texture of wood.
He probably used many different mediums. He was a prolific illustrator.
