      Made in 1891. Nice machine.

      It is similar to mine but yours is a fiddle base they are known as a model 27 and VS3
      (VS relates to vibrating shuttle) yours may even be a VS2??
      There will be references to the type of decals(paint design) if you google singer decals and look through the images.

      I have this model base with a wooden treadle rod trademarked may,12,1881. Unfortunately there is no machine but it is relatively solid, now rust free and in the process of being painted, thinking of doing the Singer oval in gold to contrast and put a nice mahogany or oak table top on it. It was hard to find the specific model the base was, about an hour of Googling... I'll post a pic of the finished product....
