They just talked about this on Pawn Stars. If it WWII it's worth about $200.00. Looks like it's the real deal, and in great condition.
This lighter was made in Austria by Imco for the armed forces and there should not be any brand or id marks on it as they didnt want anyone knowing who and where it was made, branding came in after the war and it was called an Imco Everlast

I am sorry but I have to make some corrections here. I know it is old topic but I have to reply for the truth.
Fact is this is NOT a WWII lighter but a cheap replica of between WW's period Austrian IMCO cigarette lighter. The reason why there are no markings has to do with this fact, not with revealing brand or origin. It has few very obvious details showing it is a cheap copy: (1) rivets holding the snuffer cap to the windscreen (different on original lighter), (2) flint wheel shaft is ordinary screw and IMCO never used screws for shafts, (3) flint spring that has to be pulled in order to insert new flint is very different then on the original IMCO etc.
It is hard to confirm (as with all copies) but guess is it's made in China 20-30 years ago. There are lot of these lighters selling all over the world. Even novice collector would not pay more then $10 for the piece, but layman can be tricked with the patina and general look and pay for it as it is the original IMCO.
Original lighter was never named IMCO Everlast but only IMCO ("Patent No. 105107" and "Made in Austria" written on each side of the flint tube). Maybe you thought about Neverfail but that is another story.
Sorry to disappoint you nanayvonne and others but these are the facts. I just thought to write this because of future readers and visitors. And sorry for my English, it is not my first language.
