EL AL 1969 Hat Badges.

In the year of the Moon Landing (1969), airlines were adopting to the fashion known as the "space age". EL AL designed these uniforms to signify this as well as to adapt to their then new 747 aircraft which were ordered the same year. Ground staff would wear blue hats and uniforms with their respective badges and aircrew would wear orange. Blue to signify EL AL and the state of Israel and Orange to signify Jaffa Oranges, a then big Israeli agricultural export.
