I am trying to identify this toy truck that my father had as a boy. The picture is noted as Christmas 1954. He mentioned it as Euclid. I have search everywhere and can't see to find anything like it. Can anyone shed some light on the maker, model, or where I might begin looking for one?
Are you in US? Is there any other info you have on it? color, material ... anything?
I know it was not made by any of the major toy companies. It's hard to tell from that photo but I'm going to say it was made of wood by a very good handyman.
In the US. At this time they lived in PA. My Grandfather was working for Pendixie Cement Plant. He would typically get the boys die cast. I'm 100% sure it wasn't wood. I don't know the exact material or if it was a mix of metal and plastic. It is possible my grandfather would of purchased it from the company as they were a cement company.
