    Hello can anyone tell me what this is called it weighs just under 4 kg it is solid brass measures 13" high and 7.5 inches across. I would like to know its origin approx age what it would have been used as etc. All help very much appreciated

      I see that you already know what this is, so simply Google "brass ewer" and all the information should be at your fingertips. You can also do an photo image search using your photos to see if there is a matching one on Google Images.

      I have googled brass ewer and nothing like it comes up it was more the origins age that kind of info I was looking for

      These come from places like Syria, Pakistan and India. These can be original or reproduction, which are made for the tourist market.

      What does the underside of this ewer look like? Is there anything scratched onto the metal there?

      Possible that there isn't a photo of the one you have online.

      You have to delete one of your photos. Go to the page and look on the left side where is says 'EDIT ITEM'. Click on it, delete one photo and add another.
