I have inherited this lovely bear from an old Aunt and would like to now a little about him, I know nothing about bears and have no idea how old he his (are they all Boys?). He is in very good condition, golden colour. He measures 26" from foot to top of ear. His arms measures 12" from top of shoulder to edge of paw. His head, arms and legs are moveable. His original eyes are missing and have been replaced with black buttons. I think his paws are original but no felt left on them. Not sure about the foot pads, they have been sewn (badly) and there is felt still on them which makes me think they might be replacements? He does not growl but think he may have one time as there is a hard bit in the middle of his chest. Does not have a button in his ear! Lastly, why does the categories on this page not have 'Bears' or Teddy Bears'?
His nose has been replaced so it is hard to see stitching of nose and mouth which helps id a bear. His pads appear original . His hair is not looking like mohair on photo is it ?
