So far all I know is that it is French and old. It came into my family about fifteen years ago. It is 48 in x 18 in x 46 in.

To my eye it has an Art Deco look to it .... Fabulous !!!
Really beautiful piece. Fantastic wood/ inlays.
I agree with vetraio-- kind of a deco look to it. The metal knobs and some other features would make me think 1920s-40s.
A picture of the back/ bottom/ with it open (if it does open) may help to date it.
