Is the King's name written on the back?

I suggest you email someone here:

Without documentation you can not go by word of mouth .

First thing I noticed is it's plated/goldtone over base metal, which would indicate to me, not a piece "Royalty" would own. Sure a King of a country wouldn't wear a "cheap" watch. Second, 15 jewel is not a high quality watch movement either, so strike two IMO. Third, Gemex in the late 1940's sold several watches with Royalty themes, Example the Baron line of Men and Baroness for Women, logic would dictate this to be something along those notions. 99.9 % sure this wasn't a piece that belonged to a King, just my opinion, hope someone could prove me wrong on your behalf, but doubt it highly.
      Regards
      Kerry

      thanks for your comments
-the back has only a stamp of 1864 and 2 stars and on the ring written statelessness water protection
      - the case of gold plated may be because the old leader dose not approve pf wearing gold by men
      - Saudi Arabia uses higri calendar which means the moon dictate the ending of the month and thsi why you see a red Crescent indicator which is not normal in my opinion unless it is a custom made , on the other hand which is confusing Arabic months never reach 31 ? ,
i couldn't make out what was written on the out side ring of the watch .
      - is there a way to contact GEMEX to find out

Okay.....for sake of argument, if gold wasn't in the King's approval for men to wear, would not of had a gold plated watch either, nor give one away. Doesn't make a logical gift, if He disapproved of men wearing gold.
