This week is all about Native American jewelry! This is an old Navajo Naja pin in turquoise about 70+ years in age. Initials BRF Etched into the back. My husband's grandma gave this to me recently. My mother-in-law luckily acquired a stunning OX Blood Coral Squash blossom necklace by chance. While we were having the squash blossom necklace appraised, this looked similar so I brought it along. Turns out this is a true antique and a treasure in it's own right. So! If anyone knows anything in addition, as always I would love to hear it! Thanks~
Turquoise: my favorite gemstone. I'm not a jewelry guy, just own 2 things ~ my wedding band and a turquoise ring. Both need resizing, though. GREAT piece you've got here! (Are watches considered jewelry???) {;>)
Thanks, NevadaBlades, already sold this one, but I do like turquoise!
Yes, OLebodie, I do love beads, and assembling necklaces. And especially antique beads, Czech and others. Sure, I would absolutely love to see your bead collection. Thanks! If you can find the time~
Hi olebodie, thanks for posting pictures of the beads. I really enjoyed seeing them. My eyes are not that great anymore and it was sort of hard to see them when there were so many included. But I DID love seeing the chevrons, trade beasds, pumpkins beads, wedding cake beads, Etc. So thanks for posting!
