Now this surprised even me. I thought it was just a beautiful little cobalt blue perfume bottle. Turns out to be a signed and dated piece of Lundberg Studio glass. From their "Starry Night" line which is currently out of production. It measures 3.5 " H x 3.5" D. It's signed on the pontil scar edge and center. So tiny and totally invisible to the naked eye. I used my 10x loupe to double check when I got home to read it. Lundberg Studios "1991" # 090911. Even then it has to be tipped at just the right angle and in bright light. So no wonder I didn't see it and neither did Salvation's crew. It was priced at a staggering $3.99... Score !! -Mike-

Wow, even without the attribution, this is a beautiful glass bottle complete with stopper, that color, the shape, love it. Now you can love it even more knowing who made it! Great score, Mike! :)

Woohoo Mike! A gorgeous thing even without the next to nothing price.
I have seen their starry night paperweights but not a perfume bottle. Great stuff!

Thank you One and you're welcome. I enjoy the research and I think it's important to pass along the information to help others. @Karen... even when I'm not looking for anything specific sometimes pieces just find me...lol. Lundberg makes some glorious glass in the finest antique traditions. This little bottle is very simple by comparison. Salvation had a globe paperweight by Lundberg last summer in the box with the original price tag. So of course they saw that. In the display case it went. It was a hundred originally and they priced it at fifty. I snoozed and lost it waiting for half price day....but this more than makes up for the one that got away !

Congrats on grabbing this Mike! I love the addition of the moon and stars! What a great touch to a beautiful bottle!!

Thanks Rick :)....I wonder how they positioned the Stars and Moon into the glass. Seems like a would be very time consuming and require great skill on such a small piece.
