    1999 D Jefferson Nickel. Obverse appears to have been struck at least 6 times through grease or some other material. Found while coin roll hunting from bank rolls. Appears to be stamped from normal nickel planchet.

      I don't know a lot about miss-stamp coins but it looks more like it's acid etched.
