Does anyone know the history of this bowl? Any information? Collection name?

I remember receiving as a gift and only bits of the conversation with the individual. I believe these were made to commemorate the relationship of the White House and Lenox. I then think that when the Lenox factory where they made them was closing they reproduced this bowl as their last item and gave one to each employee.

If someone can verify and/or add any additional info that would be great.

    Thanks

I think you're right. It was a parting gift.
