This is the 1989 London Aire motorhome I purchased over the summer that I lovingly named Big Ben. I absolutely love the big guy. He's 37.5' Long! And No, I do not drive him... Yet. Maybe one day when I build the nerve/confidence. I stumbled across him by accident just driving thru a childhood neighborhood while reminiscing. It had been parked for several years and used as a storage unit. Wildlife even took refuge in it. After many hours of cleaning and fixing odds and ends he's looking pretty good and making a very comfy place to hangout.
The first two photos and the last photos are stock photos from London Aire's website. The third photo is after I cleaned Big Ben up. The before photos are very shocking.

I don't drive it. LoL it's been moved twice since I bought it and both times the previous owner drove it for me.

Big Ben rocks! Looking good now...well done.
Aims I can see you kicking back in this, being the lady of leisure.
Who cares if it's still in your yard.

You are so lucky to find this Aims and it cleaned up "real good" ! 80's luxury at it's finest. So I take it the engine is in good condition as well. How many miles are on it ? My folks sold theirs about ten years ago when Dad's RA really started flaring up. Letting it sit in the storage lot facility wasn't good either. As you said the critters love them if given half a chance. So I won't be inheriting one of my own...lol. I think I was only in it twice and that was just to fix the stereo system for him. He drove school buses after he retired so something like this was nothing new. You'll manage it's just like a big car...point the nose and the rest will follow ! -Mike-

Is there any better way to not stay at the in laws. Lol my uncle had a monster like this. Do you have a special hat for driving in this? Very nice!

Interesting... You named it after a clock....Hmmm, I'm thinking my observations on that little alarm clock you posted might actually be true then... You bought a motorhome just to get that clock! I think something's wrong with you...lol...

      LoL racer, that's so me!
Mike, I hope you end up with one. They're awesome. I'm in love with Big Ben. The previous owner basically only charged me what the (highly sought after) motor and trans are worth.
Caperlid I'll be looking for a hat now. LoL
      xoxo Mani
      What a fantastic idea fortapache.
Thanks everyone. I'm loving all the comments. I named it Big Ben bc it's a "London" Aire and well it's BIG! LOL
I'll post some before pics in another post for shock value.
