Antique Brown Pottery

I am almost speechless when I look at this pottery. I believe it to be very old and the handles and spikes on the side are great. The clay is thinly made and the wonderful brown color compliments it very well. This was found along with the 4 others. While sitting a work I had this premonition to go by one of my favorite stores. As I was wondering around the store and look down on the floor and they all were right there for the picking. And, I picked and picked. So glad I did. I believe it to be redware, but not entirely sure. Possible Chinese/Japanese?
