This ring is in very good vintage condition. It is marked CT and Sterling. I believe it is in the style of Native American jewellery. I searched for more information on the initials CT but only found this on e-bay: http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Navajo-Turquoise-Style-Sterling-Silver-Ring-Marked-CT-Size-8-6-4g-Estate/272114286790?_trksid=p2047675.c100011.m1850&_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIC.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20140620075055%26meid%3Dbe141a17948645fbaa5bb77d1d704cf2%26pid%3D100011%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D10%26sd%3D272104498140

Beautiful ring...Silver and Onyx always a perfect match other than Turquoise :)
Ha Ha, bupkus, me too, Efesgirl! I looked for an hour and got nothing. I'll keep searching:)
Thanks a lot, mikelv85. I think when it comes to Native American jewelry, turquoise comes to mind first. No wonder, the colour is so beautiful.
Thanks for your comment, valentino97. When I saw the ring I was almost sure that it was Native American, but the stone made me think it could be something else. I like a mystery and so I bought it:)
beautiful!!!!
Thanks, SEAN68:)
I had another look at the ring and think that it might not be onyx after all. I have a feeling that the "stone" could be some kind of plastic. I read somewhere that the cheaper jewelry was sometimes made of silver, but with a resin "stone." I think that way because the ring feels a bit too light for its size.
