This Vintage Hutch was saved from a basement. It was painted before i ever received it. I love the arched top. Does any one know if it is considered Art Deco? Would love to know about how old it is. It is missing the skeleton key to the glass door. No idea what kind of wood it is made from. It is 71 inches tall & 35 & a half inches wide. I cut out card board pieces to fit in back of the shelves, wrapped & taped them in red material to give it color. Thinking of painting the outside of the hutch a light color of grey.
I believe it is more art moderne than art deco. Definitely like the 1930's. Art Moderne is sometimes called Streamline Moderne.
