This is another case of almost exactly the same but not even close. I found these two at the same shop. Last week I walked in and found the first piece (third picture), and today I walked in and found the one in the second image. I believe they are flint enamel and can guess they are planters or decorative pieces...no idea.
Looking at the first image, the piece on the right is much finer. It is more attractive, the coloration more fluid, and the brown is much deeper and prettier. It is lighter in weight and they clay is smooth. The clay is yellow in color.
The piece to the left is more crude. The brown is not quite as pretty and the coloration is blotchy. It is rough and bumpy, also quite heavy. The clay is more of a stoneware.
